Arbiter of fate

Painted this one up a while ago, initially with gold edging on the armour

After some advice from my good friend John, instead used bronze for the edging, I think the darker edging looks better myself

don't fear the Reaper...

Excellent news from Reaper minis!

I backed the KS last year and have been waiting patiently for delivery. There have been a few delays but given the scale of the whole project and sheer logistics of it they are doing an awesome job, good work Reaper!

Friday, June 7th, we received two 40ft containers full of Bones! For those of you keeping track at home, those containers were filled with over 470,000 models. We're still looking for the last container to be delivered next week, but we have enough to start shipping now.
What's next?
We've unloaded the containers (we have the bruises to prove it). We're getting those models organized into our system and firing up our fulfillment line this week.
We know we're behind our estimated ship date of March, so we've added a second shift for fulfillment so we can process the packages very nearly 'round the clock. We're doing everything we can to blast through these pledges so you can receive your Bones as quickly as we can manage it.
Thanks for your continued patience and support.

Cue the Lost Ark theme...

Do you see what I see?

Marauder trike, from Mantic games

Put together the Warpath Marauder (space orcs) I got in the crazy box at Christmas. Model was pretty clean with only a few bits to file or cut down, and went together very easily.

Painting was pretty quick as well, i don't think that an overly tidy look is good for space orcs/marauders.

I left the driver off the back, so it can be controlled by anyone that can climb on it (if they are daft enough!)

the cat and the mountain....

Hoplite by Crossover miniatures

Painted up one of the Crossover minis I picked up at Salute, it came out looking good with a simple but effective paint scheme.

You can get Hoplite from their website

Currently Crossover are running a Kickstarter campaign which is very tempting!

Sci Fi terrain, part 2

Got the terrain painted, black undercoat, dark metal drybrush, varnish then some rust effect (which I might dull down with some black wash)

(mantic enforcer for scale)
