Assembled the Tau droneport that my wonderful brother Alex gave me for Christmas. Assembly was quicker than I expected and it went together very easily. The whole port looks great together, plenty of little details and I like they put a grating pattern on the floor rather than leaving it plain.
Leftover on the sprues is another entry stairway and 2 curved sections, which I'll put to use on as either wreckage or scenery. Also included in the kit is 4 drones to fill the ports, but they are for another day.
Looking forward to using it in a game soon!
do we stop playing games because we get old, or get old because we stop playing games?

Cojo, going ape!
Also assembled a Cojo ape from Malifaux, a great choice of xmas gift from my good friend Rune.
The hard part is going to be painting it, might try and go with the white scheme as shown on the box it came in.

Betrayal at Calth fully assembled
Finally got the whole set put together. Would have been quicker but the dreadnought and terminators had to be magnetised.
Its a great kit, plenty of nifty bits leftover from the standard marines to go into the bits box.
Now I just need some dry weather to get them spray undercoated.

Setting the scene - more DZ terrain for 40K
Got round to assembling some more mantic deadzone terrain, got a good variety of shapes and sizes, still some detailing and greeblies to be added, but they are good enough to go on a tabletop.
