Sci fi terrain

Have had some platform & hexagon terrain for ages, with having a spare day today I finally started putting it together, Got it all snipped off the sprues and after some messing about got a variety of structures put together. Added some antenociti barriers just to set the scene a bit more.

Tomorrow its clean up of the mould lines and gluing, as well as spray undercoating if the weather is good again



the tower at the rear needs a plywood/mdf base, it might be a bit unstable

Colonial enforcer

I am pledging for the Deadzone kickstarter by Mantic games, and will be getting a load of Enforcers as part of the deal.

Am trying a few different colour schemes, first one I did ages ago:-

Latest one is:-

Removed the lacklustre rifle it came with and replaced with a pulse-rifle from Hasslefree minis. I think the black & green one looks better, but the red & gold has a certain appeal to it

Have had these minis for some time, from the dungeons-dragons-the-fantasy-adventure-board-game, got a job lot of the minis from ebay a while ago.

Was never very happy with the 'slime' thing hanging down from their chins. Borrowed a 'dremel' cutter from my good friend Rune and chopped the things off. They already look a lot better, just need to repaint them now....

UAMC weapon/arm/head swaps WIP's

Weapon swaps. Not too impressed with the weapons molded onto the arms of the Defiance marines. After some advice from TMP I did some swaps:-

 

UAMC marines with Catachan arms, one with shotgun and the other with a pulse rifle

 

 

UAMC marines with pulse rifles

 

UAMC marines, Catachan head added to the SMG guy, looks like he is blazing away!

IG body added to the SAW guy instead of the UAMC torso 'barrel'

Need to finish painting them up, but I think the swapping around of parts should give some variety to the minis
