Stormtalon
the latest addition to my space marine army...
The kit was easy to assemble straight out of the box, no particularly hard bits. Unfortunately the kit only comes with one set of weapon pods, so I will be acquiring a few bits from ebay and have magnetised the pods so they can be swapped out as needed. Assembled the kit as 'stock', if I do another one I might chop off the rear tail that hangs down, as it seems a bit unnecessary on the mini.
Not the best photo, its a darker blue but the camera makes it look lighter. Canopy still needs to be paintd, also more detailing is needed but the mini is tabletop ready.
Chief librarian Tigurius
Kit bashed version of the Ultramarines master psyker, sternguard legs, normal marine torso & left arm, terminator right arm with thunderhammer haft, skull from bits box, and a shoulder pad cut down to look like a psychic hood.
Codex psykers are meant to be blue, so he would look no different from regular ultramarines, so I used a lighter blue and it really stands out from the rest of the troops.

Building up....
Recently got some MDF buildings from ebay. They went together easily with some white glue, and are well sized to go with 28mm minis.
I like that they are simple constructions, and should look good with some simple texturing and paint on them.
Also made some buildings using some foamboard,

Seeing red...
Started on the Space Hulk terminators, most of the base colours are blocked in, still lots of details to be done on each of them.
With at least 3 colours on each of them I guess they are tabletop ready...

Seeker missiles and space hulk
Magnestised some seeker missiles for my tau piranhas, easier than trying to remember which one has fired and how many, and better than blu tacking them to the mini
Got a copy of the recent release of Space Hulk, started assembly and did some test paint schemes

Eldar Wraithknight
As some of you may know, I have recently been painting an Eldar Wraithknight for my brother Alex as a birthday present, now that he has the knight I can post pictures of it, enjoy!
Its an awesome mini from GW, the kit goes together very easily, and magnetising was pretty straightforward although the waist joint did need reinforcement with green-stuff.

One downside of the kit is it comes with 5 primary weapon options, but only 4 arms, luckily though one of the many bits sellers on ebay was able to rectify the issue.
The last 2 pictures show a good size comparison against a Eldar Wraithlord, and against a Tau Riptide and Space Marine commander...

Descent minis and Tau stealth suits
Got the last of the Descent monsters painted up, all that's left is 3 heroes and the whole set will be finished!
Also finished the de-cloaking effect on my Tau stealth suits, am happy with the look of them overall
